Who We Are

Pacific County Fire District 6 (PCFD6) is a public fire protection district serving Bay Center and the surrounding area. It is known locally as the Bay Center Volunteer Fire Department (BCVFD), or simply Bay Center Fire.

Our service area is primarily identified as from Bruceport Park at Hwy 101 milepost 49 in South Bend, WA to Bay Center, WA and south to Hwy 101 milepost 38.

Bay Center Fire is staffed entirely by volunteers. Volunteers respond to fires, medical emergencies, vehicle collisions, rescues, hazardous conditions, and other emergencies.

The department also works with neighboring emergency-service agencies through mutual aid. Our fire district regularly partners with adjacent fire districts: South Bend Fire Department and Raymond Fire Department to the north and Nemah Fire Department and Naselle Fire Department to the south.

The people responding when someone calls 911 are members of this community — neighbors serving neighbors.
