FRIENDS OF BAY CENTER FIRE DEPARTMENT

About Friends

Another way for neighbors to help neighbors.

Community-Led

·······

Friends of Bay Center Fire Department is a community-led nonprofit organization being formed to support Bay Center Fire and strengthen local fire protection, emergency response, volunteer readiness, and community preparedness.

Sustainability

·······

Through fundraising, grants, community projects, events, and volunteer support, Friends provides another way for people to help sustain Bay Center Fire - including those who may not be able to serve as emergency responders.

Independently

·······

Friends is a separate nonprofit organization that works in support of Bay Center Fire. The Fire District remains responsible for emergency operations, public governance, and its public budget, while Friends operates independently to complement and support the District’s mission.
